First Week of School. Done.

I did it! I survived my first week back in school! If we're being honest, I might be a little worse for wear (#ispelledavocadowrongforbabyboyseightmonthphotos), but, regardless of that, I still survived.

I had NO intention of going back to school. Ever.

Not only did I have no intentions of going back to school, I never thought that if and when I did go back to school, it would be after I had a baby! In the perfect world of Kirstin Amanda, by this point in my life, my business was suppose to be up and running, and I was suppose to be on my way to changing the world. I'm pretty sure there is a saying or two that could apply to this. What comes to mind is, "if you want to make God laugh, make plans."

So, I'm done making plans.

For the next little bit, I'm going to try really hard to trust in the process, have faith, and let Heavenly Father take the wheel on this one. My way didn't work, so it's His turn to show me what He can do.

Stay tuned, 'cus I'm sure it's gonna be good.

Anyway, I'm actually super excited to be back in school. I am a puh-ritty good student. It's fun walking through campus, talking notes, and toting a backpack around. I am also loving that I have a reason to get dressed up again- Baby Boy loves me whether or not I get dressed for the day, so I tend to stay a bit more casual around the house these days. No point getting fancy just to get avocado or spit up all over my clothes!

I'm looking forward to the killer calves I'm going to have by the end of the semester (thank you second, third, and fourth floor classes), and words can't describe how stoked I am for two different FREE yoga clubs. I'm excited for the potential connections I can make, and I absolutely love getting to visit my Dad over in his building in between my classes and going home. Leaving Lars is a little sad each day, but coming home to his excited and happy little self is seriously THE BEST.

Life is good. And I'm so grateful that we ended up in New York. This is definitely where we are meant to be right now. I don't know what the future holds, but that's ok, because I'm enjoying right now, right where we are.

This is an old dress. I had no luck finding something that even looked similar.
